SAANJHI - 2025
SPV's cultural festival, Saanjhi, was held on 21 November, 2025. The festival was split into three segments: folk musical exposition, art and craft, and storytelling.
The melodies of the storyteller, the steady beat of the tabla and the soft voice of the sitaar all intertwined to represent our cultural diversity. Participating school's dancers stepped into the rhythm with the delicate chime of ghungroo filling the air; the storyteller's movements swirling unfolding before the participants; and the students with colour and clay-stained hands as they enjoyed their Art workshops.
We had artisans teaching the student fine craftsmanship of their artistic talents. For the folk music segment, we had Ms. Malini Awasthi, Ms. Sucheta Abhyankar, Mr. Dhruv Sangari and Mr. Shiv Sharma.
Saanjhi of 2025 celebrated the fabric of Indian culture, through a presentation of this mosaic of interwoven communities, each one a richly vibrant one.
