Sardar Patel Jayanti - 2024
Sardar Patel Vidyalaya celebrated the 149th birth anniversary of our National leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the 25 th of October at 10 am in the auditorium . Learned scholar and public intellectual Prof. Apoorvanand was the chief guest on this occasion. He addressed the students and encouraged them to think beyond public personas of national icons. Prof. Apoorvanand also exhorted the students to take their civic responsibilities seriously and strive to become a true leader in their own right. The programme had melodious presentations by the Senior school choir and the students of class 5 sang 'usne sikhaya tha humein' - a tribute to Sardar. Programme narration highlighted lesser known aspects of Sardar's personality like his humour, his sensitivity and deftness in multiple skills. The event ended with a vote of thanks delivered by the Principal - Ms. Anuradha Joshi.
