On 26th August, 2025, In the presence of the esteemed Lieutenant Governor, Mr. Vinai Kumar Saxena and the Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs Rekha Gupta, Sardar Patel Vidyalaya marked a significant step towards sustainable mobility with the inauguration of its fleet of electric buses. The launch ceremony highlighted the institution’s commitment to environmental stewardship and the promotion of green practices within the educational community.
The school’s philosophical commitment and its collaboration with the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) led it to become the country's first to achieve complete electrification of its vehicular fleet.
